Museum Night is a cultural event where museums and cultural institutions stay open late to promote culture. Archive of Photography took part in this cultural event with the Ex.Position project. Camera-like objects inspired by old photo cameras were designed and positioned on 3 locations in the city. Three photographs showing different parts of city’s history were placed inside them. We positioned them to face the exact location that was on the slide inside the camera. This way, the viewers could ‘’go back in time’’, and for a brief moment feel like a photographer who took that photo. All the visitors received the postcard with the photograph they just saw and were directed to the next location of the Ex.position.
